I) mqafone.netPeter小时侯曾在美国6个不同的州居住过,这也使Peter对新事物及新的环境具有很强的适应能力. 就读一年级时,Peter在表演《The Wizard Of Oz》中的Scarecrow时发现了自己对于表演的热爱,并将其视为自己一生的最爱,而他也告诉自己的家人他想成为一位演员. 在整个高中期间Peter一直积极参与表演，写作和导演.虽然Peter一直辗转于不同的学校,但他一直都是学校中最优秀的学生. 高中毕业后,Paige获得了到Boston University的奖学金.作为世界知名大学戏剧系的一名学生,Peter每天都会花12到15个小时在大学的古典戏剧部学习表演.1991年Peter顺利完成学业,正式毕业并获得了BU的Summa Cum Lande(学位).同时,他也因为优异的成绩被授予Stein Award 及Fin Arts学士学位.Peter是一位具有才华的舞台演员,在世界各地的主要剧院都能看到他的身影.他在公演La Jolla时格外引人注目.Peter参与了不同风格的戏剧表演,从古希腊到莎士比亚戏剧到当代美国的戏剧作品.

Peter最为人熟知的银幕形象是在Showtime连续剧《Queer As Folk》中的Emmett.2000年Peter参加了改编于英国同名电视剧《Queer As Folk》中的主角之一Michael Monotny的试演(有出路,根据音像资料说是试演Ted这一角色).遗憾的是,Peter并没有得到这个角色.但是制片人非常喜欢他,推荐他试演另一个角色--Michael的室友Emmett.起初Em被定型为一个南方同志,他心地善良.在QAF的第一季中是一个带有喜剧色彩的人物.但随着剧情的发展,Em逐渐成为了一个更加严肃,更加具有自省意识的对那些来自害怕成见的同志积极参与者的抱怨作出回应的人物. Peter携手Randy Harrison,Glae Harold,Hal Sparks和Sharon Gless等共同出演了这部具有里程碑意义的电视剧.评论家都承认在这描写了同住于同一座城市7位男男女女之间复杂关系的电视剧中，Paige的表演在这个优秀的团体中格外醒目.许多评论家认为Peter的表演深刻,感性,给人深刻的印象.虽然Paige的家在LA,但是每年的大部分时间Paige都要呆在Toronto拍摄QAF.# e2 b* B4 o5 b: }8 H! c
