Like a dog in space。
Gale

@galeharoldfan I went to the play tonight also. I met the whole QAF cast, including Gale. I’d love to tel you about it!
@GaleHaroldFan I came to the theater late, so I didn’t see the audience. As soon as the second play ended I saw the people in front of me.
@GaleHaroldFan It was Scott Lowell, Peter Paige, Randy Harrison, and Michelle Clunie all sitting together! I sort of watched them throughout
@GaleHaroldFan the intermission. They were all talking to eachother os I didn’t want to interrupt. Finally Gales play started and he looked
@GaleHaroldFan and sounded gorgeous, as usual. I noticed that he looked out into the crowd and smiled slightly when he saw the cast. :)
@GaleHaroldFan Afterwards, he came out and talked to them all, as well as some other people. Finally, I mustered up all my courage and
@GaleHaroldFan walked up to them. I talked to each of the cast members indiviually, telling them what a fan I was and how happy I was to see
@GaleHaroldFan them. They were all really sweet and gracious and talked to me for a few minutes, except Randy who seemed uninterested.
@GaleHaroldFan Finally I went up to Gale. I was so nervous, but he saw so nice and put me at ease. We talked, hugged and took a picture!
@GaleHaroldFan Randy had left at this point, but the rest of them all said bye to me and left together. It’s so cool to know that they’re
@GaleHaroldFan all still friends. And it was soooo cool to meet them all at once. Especially Gale’s gorgeous face, of course. :)
...Not only was I surprised by the caliber of the plays and all the actors, but I was even more surprised when a few “friends” showed up to cheer Gale on. None other than Randy Harrison, Peter Paige, Scott
Lowell and Michelle Clunie were all there to support, not only Gale, but the cause. With as large as the entertainment industry is, theater must be small enough, because Peter knew a few people there (clearly
locals) and Randy knew the director and a couple people as well. It was not only an honor and very exciting to meet and see Gale in person (such an amazing person and actor), but to talk to and meet four of the best actors of QAF, including Randy… I have never had a funner, more exciting, more enjoyable time at any play.

Gale's character was "Mister Papers," and he looked gorgeous and sounded great. He was wearing a brown suit, and glasses, and he had a little scruff, and it was completely fantastic to see him acting, in this tiny theater, just five feet away from where we were sitting.
All three of the plays that were presented were very well written. The young writers expressed depth beyond their years. The one Gale acted in was last and was the longest. As Verybookish reported, Gale looked gorgeous and sounded great. I loved the way he said the Russian words. It was a thrill as always seeing Gale perform a few feet away.
He wasn't on stage the whole time. He was an important characater but not the central one.. In typical Gale fashion, he did not want to take the spotlight from those that the night was really about. Once the cast took their bows and the writers received their awards, he didn't stay around too long. He may have come back out later. I don't know because we - me and the two people I attended with - decided that as much as we love Gale, the night wasn't about him. I think it's so wonderful that he is participating in so many of these ventures supporting local theater and celebrating new talent. I had a wonderful evening doing something I probably never would have done if not for Gale being a part of it.
Scott Lowell did attend tonight's production of the Young Playwrights Festival. My friend and I were in the lobby talking when we saw him at the desk getting his ticket. With him was Peter Paige. I waved at Peter and he gave a small wave back and smiled. A few minutes later the theater door was opened, and people started going in. My friend and I sat in the second row, and my friend noticed that they were joined by a couple other people. We recognized one of them. It was Randy Harrison.
We didn't try to talk to them. We thought if we saw Scott that we might try to talk to him, if he seemed receptive. Since they were all together, we didn't try to talk to them at all. But it was still neat to see them there supporting Gale. It's great that they are still friends.
